StreamerJoy guest guide

You're invited to a live stream 🎬

Joining takes under a minute — here's everything you need to know.

1. Before you join

Use Chrome on a computer, or Safari/Chrome on your phone. Find a quiet spot with good light, and use headphones if you can — it makes your audio much cleaner.

2. Join the studio

Open the link the host sent you, type your name, and tap Join now. When the browser asks for your camera and microphone, tap Allow — the host can't see or hear you without it.

3. You start backstage 🪑

You are NOT on the stream yet. Backstage you can see the other guests (and they see you), but there's no audio and viewers can't see you. When the host is ready, they bring you on stage — you'll see "🔴 You're on stage" and your mic turns on.

4. Your controls

📷 Camera and 🎤 Mic — turn yourself on/off anytime.
🖥️ Share screen — show your screen on the stream.
Effects — blur your background or replace it with a photo from your device.
🎚️ Settings — pick your mic/camera, fix echo or background noise, set video quality.

Good to know

The host runs the show — they can mute you, turn your camera off, or move you backstage at any time. If your camera or mic won't start, look for the 🎥 icon in your browser's address bar and set it to Allow, then tap the camera/mic buttons again.
